Speedy deletion nomination of Serbian genocide (disambiguation)
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Serbian genocide (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is:
- a disambiguation page with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" which lists only one extant Wikipedia page (i.e., there is a primary topic);
- a disambiguation page that lists zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
- a redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" whose target is neither a disambiguation page nor page that has a disambiguation-like function.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:06, 20 July 2025 (UTC)

Hoax article
[edit]Hello Rodw,
I saw that you have been doing an edit in the article Nieuweschans dialect. I want to tell you that this article is almost certainly a hoax. There is also an article in the Dutch Wikipedia, and it has been nominated for deletion. The so called 'sources' in the articles are all complete nonsense, and they all have been published only some days ago.
F.i. the 'photo of an newspaper. Which newspaper? And why is it unreadable? The other so called sources, they have no name of an author at all, so that nobody can determine of this has been written by a relyable linguist or by someone who wants to make a joke.
I am working in NL-WP and I am not familiar with the procedure of nominating articles in EN-WP, so maybe you are willing to nominate this nonsense for deletion here. Thanks, Erik Wannee (talk) 08:25, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
- Btw: all other contributions of this person are nonsense, too. So I think a cleaning / reverting operation will be necessary on several articles. Erik Wannee (talk) 08:28, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
- My only edit to this article was to disambiguate a link and I have no knowledge of dutch dialects. The process to nominate an article for deletion is at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. You could also contact User:JeBonSer who accepted the article at Wikipedia:Articles for creation.— Rod talk 08:31, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you. I have asked JeBonSer on his/her talk page. Erik Wannee (talk) 08:41, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
How did you find that link (out of curiosity)? On United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps
[edit]I was having trouble linking promotion I was wondering how you achieved linking it to the proper one as I honestly could find zero so I can do it like that in the future. (would save time) Tokeamour (talk) 21:33, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
- I can't remember specifically which list or tool I found that link from but take a look at Wikipedia:Disambiguation pages with links where there are several approaches to finding links to disambiguation pages. To highlight them in your own editing go to yur preferences (drop down list top right) & choose the "gadgets" tab, then scroll down to "Appearance" & put a tick next to "Display links to disambiguation pages in orange".— Rod talk 07:16, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks I might be using that in the near future! Tokeamour (talk) 01:09, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
